i've been back in the states for three weeks and peru is already starting to feel like a dream. it's not that the memories are fading, they just feel impossible and not all the pieces seem to connect. did i really do all those things, see all those things? could i really have been there? have i truly walked where che guevara walked? the more i try to try to convince myself of its truth, the more unbelievable it feels.
